Kingsmead Day Nursery’s Safari Summer Week
Fundraising for Marwell Zoo
The children at Kingsmead Day Nursery are working together with Kind Kangaroo and all of the other animals to get active and raise money to help local zoo: Marwell Zoo to recover following the impacts of Covid-19.
The Wildlife Charity at Marwell Zoo is facing the most challenging time in its nearly 50 year history. It needs our support more than ever to help care for the animals and ensure future generations can experience the joy of coming to the zoo.
We always try to inspire the children at Kingsmead to understand and care for the natural world in our community, which is why they are very excited to be involved in helping the animals at Marwell.
The Safari Summer Week will take place from 29 June – 1 July and will involve:
May the best dressed… raise the most money! The children go wild with an animal parade and picnic.
Slow and steady doesn’t always win the race as the children get competitive on Safari Sports Day.
A totally roarsome cake sale.
