In our Pre School Unit we are implemnting Helicopter Stories   a child-initiated technique for story telling and story acting. It is fun and has been proven to have a significant impact on children's literacy and communication skills

We have had a very busyand a fun filled week making cakes, dressing up and even wearing our pyjamas to nursery. We have collected lots of money for Children in Need . Thank you to all the parents for their participation and donations.

All the children have enjoyed coming to nursery dressed up as a character from the favourite book.  Our Pre School Unit were very excited to come in as their favourite characters.

Our Bear Unit really enjoy their Baby Yoga sessions with the staff. Downward dog seems to be a particular favourite.

We are excited to be offering a new flexible childcare option for parents of children who attend Kingsmead on a regular basis and for those who are not currently attending. If you need short notice childcare, we can accommodate a minimum 2hr flexible stay and play....
